YOUR IMPACT

As a Learning and Development Trainer, you are responsible for training new Wingstop franchisees/operators in both the classroom and in restaurant. You will teach and coach these individuals through to completion of the Flavor Academy training program. You will be responsible for training them on how to perform all necessary operations in adherence with brand standards and how to manage great restaurants.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Training Support

• How to provide a great Wingstop guest experience
• How to manage great restaurants through targeted General Manager training in addition to station training
• Coordinate and lead operational training to new franchisees and members of their operations team. Train on all aspects needed to operate a Wingstop restaurant. In addition, you will coach them on:
• Identify learning gaps and design training intervention(s) as necessary
• How to effectively train their teams

Other

• Represent the training and operations teams in special projects on as needed basis.
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner
• Assess Flavor Academy training program, identify areas for improvement, present recommendations for improvement to cross-functional leaders, and lead the change process.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• A valid U.S. driver’s license required
• Foster strong working relationships within team, cross-functionally and with Franchisees
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning
• Maintain a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
• Strong facilitation skills
• Genuine desire to serve our guests, franchisees and our team
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
• Manage multiple projects and timelines
• Ability to travel for extended periods
• Ability to identify learning gaps and determine appropriate intervention
