POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
What you’ll do:
Curriculum Design:
- Support leadership curriculum design for key courses under direction of Director
- Delivers relevant and accurate content that accelerates and sustains team member proficiency
- Support the design of training for key functional areas (Sales, Membership Experience, F&B)
- Create PowerPoints, with video, music, and various animation
- Utilize Micro-learning (courses, videos, on-the-job activities, job aids)
- Develops skills assessment new-hire programs that reduce training costs and result in quicker on-boarding and better employee productivity and higher graduates and completions.
- Develops, designs, and facilitates engaging and relevant learning solutions that align with business needs utilizing various delivery methods including instructor-led, experiential, job-aids, and self-study, e-Learning, video, gamification, blended and mobile-compatible
- Helps to support GM Summits/training
Management Training Delivery
- Track, provide reporting, and drive measurable training delivery results for all programs
- Employs a variety of teaching strategies that motivate learning, including examples, practice and interactivity
- Deliver leadership training or programs for mid-level training leaders (new managers at home office)
- Leads/supports departmental team building (as needed)
- Effectively designs and can deliver creative team building activities (both remote and in person)
Project Management & Implementation of Key Initiatives:
- Sets a clear budget if needed
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate and develop strong relationships at all levels
- Ensures timelines and deadlines are met
- Manages assigned training projects from start to finish
- Designs clear project plans with clear milestones and regular status updates
- Works with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met and SMEs provide information as needed
Learning Management System Support:
- Maximize the effectiveness of training initiatives by staying up to date with evolving training best practices, methods, learning tools and technologies
- Partner with subject matter experts to perform audit/update of all training programs on the learning management system and determine future needs. Continually evaluate and revise Training Programs to ensure delivery of updated information.
- Establish and evaluate metrics that measure the performance and success of ongoing training programs
- Setting a calendar for compliance related coursework and assigning appropriate coursework
- Conducting status reports on training including Completion of New Hire Training, Compliance Training, Key Annual Trainings and helping to provide executive summaries
- Manage SCORM compliant training content and knowledge-check quizzes and tests
- Assist in day to day issues with Director of Training and HRIS team, on the Oracle LMS system and LinkedIn Learning to resolve day to day general technical issues
Culture & Engagement
- Ability to design creative team build events and activities when requested
- Facilitates, delivers, and oversees the corporate office on-boarding/new hire training
- Supports the culture of Invited, and the home office through creative ideas to help support key leadership meetings/culture, etc.
General Technical Tools:
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Articulate (RISE, Storyline, etc.)
- Experience in LinkedIn Learning
What you bring:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; written, oral and presentation skills
- 5+ years of experience working in Training Delivery preferably in a hospitality setting, retail, or multi-unit setting.
- 1-2 Years Project management experience
- Understanding of different learning modalities and how to use the appropriate approach, understanding of instructional design and adult learning methodologies
- Certifications in leadership trainings, Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development
- Ability to influence others without direct authority to achieve solutions, resolve issues and overcome hurdles to meet organization’s objectives
- Extensive experience with Articulate (Rise, Storyline, etc.).
- 3+ years conducting and leading management training, excellent facilitation skills and training delivery skills
- Experience with different learning management systems. Specific experience with loading courseware (scorm, etc.), tracking, and reporting
- Maximize the effectiveness of training initiatives by staying up-to-date with evolving training best practices, methods, learning tools, and technologies
- Strong interpersonal and partnership skills with an ability to flex communication styles that are essential for interacting with key internal and external stakeholders to manage, inform and influence outcomes
- 3-5 Years in Training Design & Curriculum
- Exemplary project management skills with ability to oversee and deliver across multiple tasks & deadlines and work with various stakeholders
Position Location: Required to be in Dallas/Fort Worth Area
Working Arrangement: Required to be in office 2-3 days/per week
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Director Of Training & Development
