Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Manager & Analyst at National Pipe & Plastics, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue as well as analyzing data to optimize strategies and drive business growth. You will play a key role in identifying sales trends, developing sales strategies, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This position requires strong analytical skills, sales management expertise, working closely with customers, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Overall, your role as an Inside Sales Manager & Sales Analyst for National Pipe & Plastic combines sales management, data analysis, strategy development, and customer relationship management to drive sales growth and improve overall business performance.
Job Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies based on data-driven insights, including pricing strategies, market segmentation, and customer targeting
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including sales performance, trends, and analysis, to senior management
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely product availability
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements, address concerns, and provide solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to understand their needs, provide information, and offer solutions
- Utilize historical sales data, market research, and industry trends to develop accurate sales forecasts
- Regularly monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Communicate sales strategies, targets, and progress to the sales team, ensuring alignment and understanding
- Assist in the development of sales budgets and goals, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries, quotes, and order processing
- Proactively reach out to existing and potential customers to build relationships, promote products, and generate sales leads
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service and support
Required Competencies
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales management and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial sales environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales analytics software
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on achieving results and driving performance
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
