Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships in a reoccurring frequency.
The selected candidate will assume territorial responsibility and relocate to within 50 miles of Albany, NY . Relocation may be provided.

The Field Manager Aftermarket professional has territorial responsibility for the administration of the Sales and Service Agreements that exist between GM, its dealers, external fleet customers, and Independent Aftersales Market (IAM) stores. They often act as consultants to the dealers and IAMs, and work reciprocally with them on the development and implementation of their business plans. They may be involved in a variety of initiatives including: developing and implementing marketing initiatives, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Act as a liaison between GM, it's dealerships, or IAM stores
- Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory stabilizing
- Assist in customer problem resolution
- Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
- Build and manage relationships
- Increase sales of GM vehicles and parts to its customers
- Facilitating mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly / yearly sales and service objectives are met
- Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, IAMs and GM
- Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies or opportunities
- Monitor personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and nonverbal communication required
- Ability to travel both day and overnight
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with MS office suite
- Aftermarket experience within automotive industry required
- Pulling data and creating report experience

The expected base compensation for this role is: $65,646 - $96880. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
