Job Description


Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Program Specialist to contribute to our team in our NYC office.


In this role, you will help manage publishers enrolled in the Ingram Marketing Advantage (IMA) program by acting as the primary contact, ultimately helping publishers navigate the IMA service successfully. You’ll support the business through daily tasks, including fielding publisher inquiries, setting up meetings, and managing the invoicing and chargeback process.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or directly related year for year experience
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or customer management


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience using Microsoft products like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Project Management software tools such as Asana


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintains the IMA invoicing and billing process, including updating and distributing monthly and quarterly IMA sales reporting statements to publishers and Finance.
  • Supports the team with publisher onboarding through moderate design work and slide preparation.
  • Interfaces regularly with publishers to develop a deep understanding of their consumer marketing needs and identifies account growth opportunities.
  • Uses internal and external tools to analyze a publisher’s catalog and identify key titles for enrollment into IMA.
  • Supports Sr. Manager with the writing and design of external-facing IMA program sales and marketing materials.
  • Assists with the development and growth of the pipeline of potential IMA publishers by setting up meetings, providing notes and tracking action items.
  • Partners with the IMA team and internal partners to ensure key contacts are continually informed on publisher account statuses.
  • Maintains and updates the IMA prospective publisher tracker.
  • Supports Sr. Manager in the preparation of IMA-specific business reviews.
  • Maintains day-to-day account relationships with publishers only as it relates to Ingram Marketing Advantage and responds to IMA-related queries across all areas including metadata, title promotions, and sales reporting. Responds to customer questions in a timely manner.
  • Supports Sr. Manager with the onboarding and internal set-up of new IMA publishers, including contracts and issuing necessary work orders.


Hiring Salary Range: $24.70/hr – $34.75/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position and will be determined by factors including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
