Residential Sales Manager

Responsibilities

As a Residential Sales Manager for our Home Services Business, you will lead and manage the residential Comfort Advisors to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. You will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, expanding our customer base, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales success, foster a motivated team, and maintain a customer-centric approach to help our Home Services Business thrive and achieve its growth objectives. • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Conduct regular meetings with Comfort Advisors to communicate sales targets, share best practices, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Attend managers' meetings focusing on the sales and performance of the department and procedure changes.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas requiring attention.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales-to-install handoffs and exceptional customer experiences.
• Review all proposals in the quote tool for options and approved discounts.
• Hold Comfort Advisors accountable for quoting in the home and leading with financing.
• Participate in recruiting and training efforts to build a team of skilled and high-performing Comfort Advisors.
• Facilitate, track, and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the residential Comfort Advisors to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure all company vehicles are maintained according to fleet policy.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and promote new programs to maintain a strong off-peak workload.
• Prepare and conduct Residential Comfort Advisor commission reviews with follow-up on performance issues.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

• Continuing to grow and build a world-class sales team.
• Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS): Monitoring customer feedback to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty levels.
• Maintaining the average ticket and close rate above budget and goals.
• Decreasing the number of warranty/callback calls resulting in non-billable time.
• Achieving and exceeding set Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Sales targets.
• Monitoring the number and value of deals in the pipeline to ensure a healthy sales funnel.
• Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Calculated by dividing the total sales and marketing expenses by the number of acquired customers.
• Measuring Comfort Advisors' time to respond to new leads.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in residential sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Comfort Advisors.
• Prior experience in the home services industry is highly preferred.

Working Conditions

Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Evening and early morning, severe weather events, and weekend or holiday hours periodically.
• Will work indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold to very hot and humid.
