Pay: $51.00 per hour/ 1 year contract with possible hire or extension
• Job Requirements:
o Advise people leaders on how to address performance concerns fairly and effectively and consistent with Company processes and practices.
o Guide people leaders on the appropriate stage of the performance improvement process.
o Review performance feedback documents to ensure expectations are clear, reasonable, and job-related.
o Ensure a reasonable process was followed before approving the delivery of a performance improvement plan or a performance-based termination.
o Develop, streamline, and maintain performance improvement resources, knowledge articles and templates to drive effective and consistent outcomes.
o Develop and deliver effective training related to the performance improvement process to increase knowledge and competencies of the performance improvement process.
o Maintain information/documentation in case management system to track and ensure accurate and timely case management.
• Skills and Knowledge:
o Strong background and experience managing employee performance issues.
o Ability to effectively manage confidential and sensitive employee information and data.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Consistently exercises sound, independent judgment.
o Excellent organizational skills, effective communication skills, and initiative are a must as well as the ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment.
o Ability to think critically, problem solve, and negotiate is required.
o Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
o Ability to work effectively in a team environment and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision is required.
o Experience working in case management and HRIS systems (Service Now, Workday, etc.) preferred.
• Qualifications
o Relevant performance management experience with a strong focus on performance improvement.
o Requires a BS or BA degree and/or minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, ServiceNow, and Workday.
o The position requires high technical ability and a strong attention to detail.
Top 3 Required Skill Sets: Experience managing performance improvement issues; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate/influence at all levels of organization
Top 3 Nice to Have Skill Sets: Employee relations background; training development and delivery; case management experience (Service Now / Workday); knowledge of employment law;
