Job Description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.


Responsibilities

  • Working with PEO's (we work with Insperity)
  • Be an employee champion, work with our colleagues to find solutions, be creative, innovative.
  • Recruit and Onboard new hires Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and openness amongst colleagues, with a high bar for personal integrity
  • Undertake Talent Acquisition and manage outreach and candidate experience for all departments.
  • Strong project management, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to act independently
  • Escalate and share workload with Global HRD in a timely manner to work in a collaborative and efficient team environment
  • A highly self-motivated, positive attitude that inspires others to seek higher levels of performance
  • Build credibility and trust among employees.
  • Work closely with employees to help them understand their eligibility for and the requirements of different types of benefits
  • Resolve, when possible, employee concerns with compassion, a systematic approach, clear documentation, and follow-through
  • Monitor the "pulse" of the organization, supporting employees and managers to enact changes to support the company culture
  • Previous experience of Canadian HR and payroll administration would be beneficial
  • Payroll processing experience required
  • Administer all aspects of Employee Benefits adhering to strict timeframes
  • Plan and coordinate new employee onboarding to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
  • Experience administering HRIS systems, Bamboo preferably
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks



Qualifications

  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
  • SHRM or similar qualification
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
