AAMP Global is seeking a Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate is a compliance expert with a passion for technical HR. AAMP Global has employees across the United States so the HR Manager should be comfortable with the research and application of federal and state laws as it pertains to each AAMP location. The HR Manager will help create robust benefit packages for AAMP employees and facilitate the creation and implementation of companywide training initiatives. This is an ideal position for someone who loves technical HR in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing thru ADP system
- Plan and execute company-wide events and employee appreciation programs.
- Develop and maintain current and complete understanding of compliance of all federal, state and local laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and EEO regulations.
- Assisting employee in setting career development goals, creating learning plans and finding appropriate learning resources
- Responsible for integration of HR functions related to future company acquisitions.
- Creates and implements strategic and tactical initiatives aimed at training and developing existing staff.
- Coaches and consults employees on policy interpretation; Responsible for policy development, compliance, and reporting.
- Act as main point of contact for employee benefit related questions and issues. Manage benefit enrollment process which includes new hire enrollments and qualifying life events.
- Ensures monitoring of employee performance by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
- Partners with the department leaders to effectively communicate and build excitement surrounding company initiatives.
- Provide employee relations support as appropriate including but not limited to; facilitating coaching meetings either one-on-one or small groups, supporting department onboarding efforts and career patching objectives.
- Maintains the organization structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Support managers throughout Annual Performance Assessment process.
- Other tasks required by the HR department to facilitate company initiatives.
- Participate in benefits annual renewal meetings/planning and open enrollment.
- Gathers and evaluates industry information to ensure utilization of correct benchmarks for HR best practices.
- Facilitate employee change process including ensuring proper approvals per request have been obtained, creation of final change form and sending employee change communications as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- Must be able to possess strong planning, execution and multitasking skills and have demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the fly. Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, issues and events .
- Experience and drive to provide exceptional customer service.
Required Education and Experience:
- 7+ years of technical HR Generalist experience preferred; experience working in a high growth company preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required; SHRM-CP preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position is part of a Global Human Resources Team, no direct reports at this time
Environmental/Physical Requirements:
- May sit for long periods of time
- Indoor offices with controlled temperature
- Crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, and lifting occasionally
- Operating computer, telephone, voicemail and other office equipment regularly
· Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis
Position Location: Clearwater, FL
Travel: 20% travel to other AAMP locations
