Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Manager responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Talent Acquisition, and Administration departments at 10X Health. This individual will ensure that all team members are in alignment with 10X Health’s mission, vision, and goals. This role will lead HR activities within 10X Health such as performance reviews, one-on-ones, and employee development. Key fundamentals of this role include developing the trust and confidence necessary to help our team navigate sensitive hiring and performance management decisions, coaching and developing our staff, creating incentive and retention strategies, and elevating their personal leadership and compliance with state and federal employment regulations. The successful incumbent will possess a breadth of knowledge in these areas, as well as the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly team-centric environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Write and implement HR policies and ensure teams are held accountable to adhering to the changes
  • Conduct WE Leadership responsibilities including managing time off, conducting bi-weekly 1:1s, documenting disciplinary issues, managing incentive compensation payout, and conducting performance reviews
  • Develop and execute on the annual Performance Review process
  • Oversee and approve the recruitment of all talent into 10X Health and subsidiary companies who are aligned with the Mission, Vision, and Values of our business
  • Provide guidance on compliance and other HR-related matters
  • Coach leadership team members on proper documentation, performance management, and engagement for their team
  • Ensure the Talent Acquisition team is meeting or exceeding recruitment targets on a monthly basis
  • Create Employee Maturity Models by department to allow team members to understand next steps in their career path and how to develop in order to move up in the business
  • Develop and implement training programs and resources for all employees on medical compliance and best practices, including conducting regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Execute strategic planning that tailors hiring, benefits, career development, succession planning and employee policies to help drive business goals
  • Develop customized job descriptions for all team members that possess relevant objectives and technical competencies that drive targets for the team to hit company goals and initiatives
  • Implement plan to support 1:1 meetings and staff meetings in ways that lift engagement and speed development
  • Lead verbal warnings, performance improvement plans, and termination of all team members to ensure compliance and alignment with best practice
  • Oversee office administration, including but not limited to visitors, inventory, cultural events…etc.
  • Create, assess, and update incentive plans that align and motivate the team to hit targets in alignment with company goals and initiatives
  • Oversee onboarding of new team members from a cultural, operational and financial standpoint


COMPETENCIES

  • Possess financial acumen in order to develop HR, Office Admin, & Recruitment Budgets with the Finance team
  • Ability to balance the need to take disciplinary action while also exhibiting a comforting nature for people to confide in
  • Ability to coach and mentor new WE Leaders’ on 10X Health concepts to lead their teams effectively
  • Knowledge of how to develop an Employee Maturity Model for departments, outlining specific behavioral competencies
  • Ability to facilitate termination conversations with team members in a professional manner and in accordance with HR best practices
  • Basic knowledge of benefits to coordinate with PEO
  • Knowledge of how to guide others through the disciplinary process from verbal warning, performance improvement plan…etc.
  • Ability to have sensitive HR conversations with team members and maintain professionalism
  • Deep understanding of employment law and regulations to develop company policies
  • Ability to lead offer negotiations by painting a picture of the 10X Health’s vision and leveraging additional compensation opportunities
  • Expert on the recruitment process and can guide the team through more challenging roles and find better ways to attract great talent
  • Experience with medical compliance, including knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA, to ensure that all HR policies and procedures are in compliance and that all employees are properly trained and aware of these requirements.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • At least 5 years’ relevant work in Human Resources or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related area of study


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
