Robert half is recruiting for a Human Resources Assistant in the Carson City area. The ideal candidate would be highly skilled and eager to succeed in and whose role will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks while providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. An HR Assistant position has opened up in the Carson City, Nevada area. This opportunity is best suited for candidates looking for short-term contract / temporary to hire work.

• Manage a number of administrative duties
• Develop new employee on-boarding orientation materials
• Update employee database logs
• Explore the internet to track down potential customers

Requirements

• Human Resources (HR) Administration experience desired
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
• Knowledge of data entry
• Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
• Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly quickly changing environment while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor
• Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
