Our client, a growing SaaS company, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist at its Las Vegas, NV location capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in support of various HR functions. The HR Generalist will collaborate with employees, operations leadership, and other HR personnel to carryout effective human resources support and programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead relevant HR projects and performs other duties as assigned
- Lead employee relations matters. Develops reports and maintains all information regarding grievances, layoff/recall and other information as may be required by management
- Oversee onboarding of all new hires, to include start date coordination, new hire paperwork and benefit enrollment
- Act as a primary POC for employees and managers at Rectangle Health’s Las Vegas office and provide excellent customer service with a focus on responsiveness
- Provide guidance to employees, managers and business leaders relative to Company/HR policies, procedures and programs; ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and corporate policies and guidelines.
- Perform a variety of professional and administrative level tasks in multiple functional areas including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, compliance, employee systems/maintenance, benefits and leave administration
- Conduct the recruiting process for internal and external candidates to fill assigned jobs vacancies in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and corporate policies and guidelines
- Manage leave administration to include tracking leave requests and ensuring compliance under the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Act
Job Requirements:
- Must be familiar with FMLA, ADA, USERRA, FLSA, and general employment laws
- Must have prior HRIS experience; ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees
- SHRM-CP or PHR certifications preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related fields
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years in Human Resources
