GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for the administration and coordination of various tasks associated with company's Human Resources functions along with support and coordination with the company's Compliance functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates and assists in the completion of gaming licensing applications including but not limited to completing detailed forms, writing letters, and gathering documentation
- Assists with maintaining and organizing of Human Resources and Compliance filing systems
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Assists and coordinates the submission of various regulatory filings
- Coordinates benefit enrollment for newly hired employees and participates in the annual open enrollment process
- Attends various internal meetings, documents and publishes meeting minutes as needed, and follows-up on action items on behalf of Human Resources & Compliance
- Assists with the on-boarding process for newly hired employees, ensuring all required documentation is completed
- Assists in maintaining accurate compliance records in accordance with all regulatory agencies the company conducts business with
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Two or more years experience in Human Resource and/or Regulatory environment preferred
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Mature disposition with the ability to handle deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
OSHA
- Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
- Wears and / or uses Personal Protective Equipment, when entering designated areas.
- Report hazardous conditions to management.
- Report any job-related injury or illness to management, and seeks treatment promptly.
- Participates in company health and safety programs and complies with all company OSHA policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office setting where walking, sitting, bending, reaching, talking, hearing and good vision is required. May be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
