Human Resources Assistant - 131 West 25Th Street

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the day-to-day administrative and human resources functions of the department. Assist with new employee benefits and orientation. Verify I-9 documentation. Prepare new employee personnel files and keep personnel files current. Schedule and coordinate various meetings. Make photocopies, fax and scan documents and perform other clerical functions. Prepare offer letters and 195.1 forms for new hires, promotions, etc. Prepare and issue ID badges andtroubleshoot ID badge system. Manage inventory for HR Department and order supplies. Fill in at Reception desk when needed. Assist HR Department with various projects and related duties as assigned.
HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS: HS Diploma or GED required. Experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar experience. Good written and verbal communication skills, BA and/or background in Human Resources field preferred. Microsoft Office proficiency.
