Job Description

SUMMARY:


Under the leadership of the HR Director, the HR Coordinator supports all areas of the HR Department, including Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Culture, CARE, and all other HR related functions. These functions include administrative responsibilities as well as project management and specific tasks.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage the HR calendar
  • Coordinate Company employee events & meetings
  • COBRA & Unemployment
  • Manage HR office supplies
  • Assist in the issuance of company IDs and update ID database
  • Ancilary benefits
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs, Laws, and Standards
  • Manage employee files and paperwork
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Act as a resource to all members of the HR team and contribute towards the team’s success
  • Process CARE cases
  • Participate in HR Department audits
  • Assist with drug and alcohol program
  • Assist with new hire paperwork and employee fingerprinting
  • FMLA
  • Mandatory Federal and State posters
  • Manage our internal Company website: www.mycapeair.org
  • Wellness fairs and open enrollment events
  • Remain current on all HR related issues including Employee Relations, Labor Law (State, Federal, Industry, and Regional), Compensation, Hiring, Benefits, etc.
  • Respond to employment verifications
  • Manage exit interviews
  • Benefit enrollments
  • Support and assist the Benefits Director with:


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of previous general HR and benefits experience highly preferred
  • Must be a self starter
  • Must work well alone and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel required
  • Must be extremely organized with sharp attention to detail, have a strong work ethic, and possess a willingness and ability to learn
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must work well in a fast paced office environment, and contribute to the Team’s success
