What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the HR function ensuring alignment to solve business agendas and people initiatives.
  • Identify key performance indicators for the organization’s Human Resources; assess the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics; collaborate with partners to implement changes.
  • Serve as a contributing member of the Diversity, Inclusion and Culture team, identifying and recommending areas of focus and implementing key initiatives.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor Human Resource programs and policies across the North America business, ensuring consistent application and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by guiding leaders on the importance of actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback, and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development.
  • Utilize the understanding of business needs, practices, and challenges to identify opportunities for better partnership, organizational effectiveness, and employee needs.
  • In partnership with Shared Services, research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and employee incentive programs.
  • Engage leaders on succession planning initiatives identifying current and forecasted talent needs while developing actionable plans that mitigate risk and prepare the organization to meet business objectives.
  • Create strategies and coach leaders on change management approaches to help foster an environment open to innovation and accountability.
  • Oversee employee relations matters throughout the organization and provide well thought out solutions.
  • Utilize KPI’s to provide key information that influences organizational decision-making with the use of relevant, value-added metrics and data.
  • Work as a strategic, high impact partner to the business through collaboration, guidance, and development of programs that promote the Company's culture.
  • Lead Human Resources initiatives within the organization ensuring consistency in elevating key programs such as onboarding, orientation, performance management, and wellness.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Drive the implementation of strategies through the design of actionable steps to ensure employee experience outcomes.


We're Excited If You Have:

  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels within the organization. A demonstrated resourcefulness in tackling problems with limited direction and guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Sound background in employment law
  • Experience working with Canadian policies, procedures, and legal requirements a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including ownership of department, projects and all responsibilities, taking initiative and using creative thinking to help achieve departmental and Company goals, and effectively managing change within the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Well-developed managerial and administrative skills
  • 8+ years of experience in increasingly responsible and diversified human resource functions.
