We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Part-Time HR Manager. The HR Manager will be responsible for handling employee issues, conducting interviews, managing the hiring process, and overseeing the onboarding of new employees. This position requires a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing and resolving various employee issues, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct interviews with job applicants, both in-person and through virtual platforms, to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Stay current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and making recommendations for policy updates as needed.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in employee development initiatives, such as training programs, performance management, and career development plans.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition by providing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating training programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and leave requests.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions for open positions.
- Manage the full hiring process, including sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references, and extending job offers.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience working in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using HRIS systems and other HR software tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are preferred.
