HR Coordinator - Temp
We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join the Distinguished Vineyards team! Reporting to the People and Culture (P&C) Leader, this role will work as a project coordinator and collaborate with the People & Culture team providing support through the implementation of Cornerstone (HR System). Our top candidate will drive regular reporting insights and provide support on project implementation and capability as required. This is a temporary position working 25-30 hours/week that is active for an estimated 6 months with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. The work schedule is M-F, requesting working at our main Novato office 1 day/week and remote the other days, may require some travel to our local wineries, and the incumbent will be eligible for our Welcome Wines package (must be 21+ to be eligible).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Management Support (65%)
• Support the implementation of all Cornerstone modules, including reporting, follow-ups, and attending weekly meetings and taking meeting minutes.
• Organize and prioritize work as necessary to meet critical deadlines in implementation phase as needed, prepares agenda and tasks meeting minutes.
• Coordinates and implements a variety of projects, provides operational and procedural support to P&C leader and/or project team by coordinating and assisting with day-to-day department operations.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of the project, including systems testing and configuration.
• Help to manage and coordinate project tasks and deliverables.
• Track and report project progress.
• Analyze data as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by P&C team in an orderly and efficient manner.
CAPABILITY & Training Support (35%)
• Support to coordinate local capability programs for each of the Cornerstone modules.
• Manage relationships with a variety of internal clients, workload, tools and processes.
• Lead other change projects as required.
• Complete routine administrations, including attending meetings, whether (internal or client), fulfilling training requirements and reporting to management or clients as requested.
• Assist in creation of training materials and to provide trainings to clients after implementation of each module.
• Provide writing/editing support to P&C team as needed.
• Create instructional procedures and documentation of the new HR system for internal clients.
Role Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, and Experience):
- Fluent in Spanish language for written and verbal communications translation is preferred but not required.
- Must have project management experience that demonstrates flexibility and collaboration across a variety of stakeholders.
- Must have minimum 2 years’ technical writing experience in support of P&C team and operations, with strong logic and analysis skills and emphasis on procedure writing.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills to execute presentations and company-wide written correspondence.
- Can demonstrate proficient to advance computer technical skills with MS Suite, Outlook, HRIS, Excel, and PowerPoint systems.
- Must have HR system and process knowledge (experience with Cornerstone is a plus).
- Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently complete multiple assignments while maintaining high quality, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Work Authorization without future sponsorship.
