Who we are looking for:
First Eagle is seeking an HR Benefits Analyst to join the New York Human Resources team. This individual will have the ability and expertise to conduct thorough analysis, communicate effectively and have an excellent sense of time management. . The successful candidate will be responsible for the below responsibilities and have the following qualifications for this role:
What you will do:
Benefits Administration and Compliance
  • Conduct Benefit Orientations for new hires; maintain and enhance the presentation deck and speaking points
  • Handle inquiries regarding employee benefits and services, problem solve issues and offer creative solutions, escalating to the Benefits Manager when needed
  • Administer COBRA and leave of absences
  • Handle EEO and 5500 filings, Nondiscrimination testing, and other regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a Wellness coordinator by planning and executing events and offerings
  • Process and audit invoices
HRIS Administration
  • Monitor and trouble shoot UKG benefit carrier feeds
  • Troubleshoot issues and run reports as needed in UKG
  • Handle employee requests (i.e., password resets, etc.) in the UKG HR system
  • Manage the Time Off module within UKG

The qualities you should have:
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Interest and aptitude in data, benefits, and HRIS
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Experience with UKG/UltiPro a plus
  • Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of two years Human Resources experience
  • Strong Excel, WORD and PPT skills required
  • Ability to provide top-notch client service quickly and accurately
  • Collegial, team player, and excellent relationship building skills

Base Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We value our people and offer a broad range of benefits.
