This position will work within the Human Resources team in New York reporting to the HR Generalist and ultimately the Director of Human Resources. This is a newly created position that will focus on compensation and benefits for the global firm as well as ad-hoc projects. You will have outstanding experience in delivering excellence in:
- Be the first point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and benefit programs at the firm, as well as assist in answering employee questions as needed on other HR topics.
- Work with the Accounting team to ensure the HR and Finance records are aligned.
- Assist with year-end compensation cycle and reward processes, including helping to gather market data, helping to sort and process internal compensation data, and helping to publish compensation sheets to employees.
- Coordinate complicated payrolls for expatriate employees in coordination with global tax advisors. * Assist with annual audit/tax requests and mandated filings for payroll.
- Provide operational support to the HR Department on both cyclical and ad-hoc HR processes including payroll, benefits, compensation, and more.
- Assist with annual appraisal process, including for FT employees, interns, and mid-year check-ins or other period review processes as needed, including working with team to draft review questions, launch review portal, and collating final review reports and summaries.
- Assist with semi-monthly/monthly global payroll processing with oversight from HR Generalist and Director of HR; develop and maintain a great working relationship with vendors to ensure smooth processing occurs.
- Assist with benefit program renewals and open enrolment periods, as well as processing benefits onboarding for new hires - including but not limited to medical insurance benefits, life insurance, gym benefits, fertility benefits and retirement benefits.
- Help track global compensation data for annual appraisal process and global hiring.
- Coordinate with London-based HR professional for coordination of global payroll and benefits execution
We are keen to hear from ambitious, versatile Compensation professionals with drive. The individual will need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate environment. Financial services/Professional services preferred.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and constantly changing environment.
- In-person office attendance is required 3 days per week and may be required 1 more day per week as needed (subject to change at the discretion of Raine).
- Enjoys working with numbers and data.
- 3 years + of HR experience in a professional services firm, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Superior judgment, professionalism, poise, ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adaptable.
- Bachelor's degree.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously in an environment with strict deadlines.
- Flexible to take on new projects and tasks as needed.
- Excellent ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, client service, and written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work across time zones when needed.
- Possess analytical aptitude.
