Job Description

Summary


Deliver a sustainable and all-inclusive talent management program. Initiate and support learning and diversity initiatives across the Americas in support of regional and global business objectives. Define and implement the L&D strategy for the region in coordination with global business partners.


Responsible for translating business strategy and needs into a best in class talent solution for the Americas, delivery of these solutions to support current and future talent needs of the region. This will include responsibility for bringing together the expertise of the broader talent functions, shared services support and technology.


  • Negotiate fees and manage external suppliers to deliver the learning propositions in an effective and cost efficient way. Ongoing review of suppliers to ensure high standards are maintained and client group needs are met.
  • Partner with the global team to strengthen the learning-and-development governance model to align with the Bank’s business strategy.
  • Ensure appropriate recording mechanisms are in place for the region to track events/budget and spend so that reporting can be produced and training actively monitored.
  • In conjunction with global team, develop and coordinate strategy to advance ESG goals. Develop talent programs that identify the risk and opportunities around environmental, human capital management, culture and ethics. Raise awareness of ESG commitments and how to improve competencies through technical and tactical trainings.
  • Coach business leaders to help them with the skills and behaviors necessary to lead their teams and optimize results.
  • Prepare the annual training calendar with junior staff member.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and Business Line leads to identify training needs, design and deliver the core curriculum for the Americas, and facilitate business line specific programs and initiatives.
  • Deliver in house training and coaching where needed.
  • Responsible for the Americas Learning & Development budget.
  • Work closely with global team to co-ordinate and deliver the HO talent development initiatives for the region.
  • Facilitate e-learning updates from course owners with the team in Paris and review progress/initiatives and exchange ideas.
  • Maintain close contact with global counterparts within CACIB and externally to understand and deliver best practice solutions for the region.
  • Champion cultural transformation and develop strong internal and external networks to share good practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders at a senior level are essential.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners on career development opportunities for all staff including senior management.
  • Develop, introduce and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Be an ambassador for new ways of working initiatives.
  • Identify, lead and manage the delivery of the D&l initiatives in the Americas.
  • Facilitate and promote employee well-being and engagement.
  • Ensure employee training records are kept up to date.
  • Manage performance management system and continuous feedback approach.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Global talent initiatives.


Knowledge and Skills


  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management
  • Experience in high paced environment
  • Experience in a global organization.
  • 10+ years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
