Job Description

Business Overview

We deliver our capabilities in four kinds of content— Original Content, Branded Content, Performance Content, and Campaign Content—to create powerful work for clients, built around stories and ideas. By developing content, we control creative, context, targeting and reach. Through our relationships and industry experience we lean on creators and editorial teams at our properties to create a voice in their work, that performs better, because it resonates in a more authentic way.

Position Summary

The MBCS Influencer and Talent Content team is responsible for harnessing the authority and reach of talent and influencers to create engaging and effective marketing programs for UM, Initiative, and Reprise clients. The team is engaged in every step of the process:

  • Strategically identifying & recommending talent
  • Creative briefing & ideation
  • Talent outreach, negotiation, and trafficking of contracts
  • Flawless execution & reporting

As a Director on our team, you will be primarily dedicated to one of our top-tier clients and their ongoing influencer strategy, planning and execution needs.

Your expertise should be in influencer & content marketing, campaign management and client services, with at least five years doing just that. Your work style should entail impeccable attention to detail and planning, strong organization and communication skills, and a process-driven approach toward achieving objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with talent and creative directors to develop creative that adheres to each client’s brief and is endemic to the talent’s brand/followers
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all parties at all times, which will include clients, talent + their management/production teams, and MBCS partners (content leads, creatives, production and finance)
  • Provide expert POVs and recommendations every step of the process to instill confidence in clients and talent, and ensure the most optimal creative and execution outcomes
  • Wrap up every campaign with data, insights and recommendations
  • Oversee the creative execution from start to finish - managing all timelines & deadlines, production and approval needs for all parties, and ensuring a smooth and on-time launch
  • Strategically identify and recommend talent in accordance to the client’s audience, brand, brief, budget and cultural moments
  • Coordinate all aspects of talent needs for live shoots or events, such as travel arrangements, glam, b-roll and on-site content approval. Employee travel may be required.
  • Manage all talent outreach, negotiations and contracting to bring exceptionally efficient rates and plans to each client

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Impeccable attention to detail and planning
  • Resourceful; great analytical and problem-solving skills
  • At least seven years professional experience with at least five of them working in influencer and content marketing, campaign management and client services
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and using influencer data platforms
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced media-centric corporate environment
  • Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, complete tasks and initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of influencer/content campaign measurement
  • Excellent communicator who can work effectively with partners at all levels
  • Travel may be required

We See You

We embrace diversity, and our responsibility to maintain an inclusive environment is core to our culture and values. We see diversity of people and experiences as fuel for creativity and innovation needed to bring about the best experiences and services. A diverse workforce means we can grow together, be better problem solvers, and bring about long-term, meaningful change where we will achieve above and beyond our business goals. We are better together..

When you join Mediabrands, you join a global community and are valued for who you are – your lived experiences, the contributions you make, and the distinct perspectives you bring. Here, what you think and who you are is just as important as what you do. As we recruit, we are dedicated to looking beyond what a resume can show. If you think you’d be a great addition to the team but don’t have the exact experience or skills, we encourage you to apply and share your unique background with us. We see you at Mediabrands.
