Head Of Development Jobs

A leading alternative asset manager, is seeking a talented Head of Development to oversee the development team supporting the firm's investor reporting team. With over $100B in assets under management, our client offers attractive financing and capital solutions, providing investors access to their diverse investment strategies. This is an exceptional opportunity to be one of the first technical hires on a newly created team. You will have the opportunity to build greenfield systems and impact the direction of the team - including a new data warehouse and CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Lead system implementation, integration, enhancements, and monitoring
• Synthesize and analyze data to provide insights and improve data governance
• Define project scope and KPIs in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Foster strong partnerships with technology vendors and business stakeholders
• Document business requirements and ensure technical team has a clear understanding of roadmap
• Drive consensus among business stakeholders and recommend process improvements

Requirements:

• Candidate should ideally have come from a software engineering background (ideally Microsoft)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into IT requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Experience in delivering mission-critical digital technology platforms and Agile development practices
• Familiarity with financial services, regulated environments, and relevant tools and systems
• 10 -12 years of experience in business analysis or project management in Private Equity or Financial Services

This role is based out of client's NYC office. Client is unable to provide sponsorship at this time. Position is hybrid - 4 days in office in NYC. Compensation is commensurate with experience - total cash compensation can go in the upwards of 300k-350k for the right skillset.
