Position Overview:
Maiden Lane Medical, a leading women's health medical practice in New York City, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Business Development. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market share, and forging strategic partnerships. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the practice's growth trajectory and achieving its long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy Development: Develop and execute the overall business development strategy in alignment with Maiden Lane Medical's vision, mission, and goals. Identify new market opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and develop plans to capitalize on market trends.
- Partnership and Alliance Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships and alliances with healthcare organizations, medical institutions, key opinion leaders, and industry stakeholders. Foster strong relationships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements to drive business growth.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market segments, customer segments, and geographies to expand Maiden Lane Medical's reach. Conduct market research, analyze market trends, and develop market entry strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- New Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new product or service offerings, strategic acquisitions, or partnerships. Lead the end-to-end process of assessing market viability, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and executing successful deals.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to partners understanding their needs, and providing solutions that align with Maiden Lane Medical's capabilities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to develop their skills and expertise. Foster a high-performance culture and create an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives. Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on the progress, challenges, and opportunities within the business development function.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles within the healthcare or medical technology industry.
