Position Description


Sunnylife is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in the United States. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, driving go-to-market activation, coaching the sales team, developing new business opportunities, creating strategic retail partnerships, and fostering a team environment with a growth mindset. This role requires a contagious spirit, continuous learning, and a passion for our brand and products.


Responsibilities


Selling Process:

  • Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while maximizing sales from existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts.


Go-to-Market Activation:

  • Identify key target markets and develop strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and initiatives to drive product adoption and market penetration.


Coaching Sales Team:

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to enhance the team's effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop training programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service.


New Business Development:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted promotional activities to generate new leads and sales.


Strategic Retail Partnerships:

  • Collaborate with retail partners to develop joint marketing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and in-store activations.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth within the retail sector.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with key retail accounts to increase brand visibility, drive sales, and sell through.


Team Environment and Growth Mindset:

  • Lead by example and inspire the team to exceed targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes a growth mindset, continuous learning, and professional development.

Qualifications


  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of the sales process and experience implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management in the consumer goods industry, preferably with the home and gift categories.
