Head Of Ecommerce & Product Management

The Head of eCommerce will be a highly motivated, customer-centric leader with a proven track record of scaling eCommerce businesses through their leadership / oversight of a high-performing Shopify-based eCommerce platform and management of a full stack team of developers and designers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to help conceive of, pitch, and define content and campaigns, with a focus on how these assets will be best deployed online
• Manage eCommerce A/B testing and product roadmap to optimize customer experience and drive results – including increased conversion rate and AOV
• Collaborate with Planning & Operations teams to proactively plan for upcoming initiatives and product launches
• Develop, plan, and execute on-site merchandising in coordination with Physical Product Development teams and Marketing teams - using mix of data and creative to inform planning
• Lead a full stack team of developers and designers (either in-house or external) in support of eCommerce objectives
• Develop a data-backed, creative-informed vision for Hedley & Bennett eCommerce (across both our DTC and our B2B Industry websites)
• Collaborate with Creative team to direct and produce creative assets (photo, video, copy, design, etc) for eCommerce platforms, where needed
• Lead and manage website experience, operations, and merchandising as the key product manager for all site tools / features
• Report and analyze weekly site performance including digital channel performance, category performance, customer reviews / feedback and drive recommendations to improve shopper experience and drive KPIs, working closely with CX to ensure the best customer experience level possible
• Proactively plan for and develop strategies to mitigate potential CX risks, and lead response to CX issues as they arise
• Analyze customer behavior patterns on the site in terms of navigation, keyword search and engagement with imagery/copy and develop strategies to optimize customer experience to maximize conversions and minimize bounce rate, load times, etc.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Deep familiarity with Google Analytics
• Experience with Klaviyo and Yotpo (or similar email / CRM platform)
• SEO and Google Search console experience, a plus
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• 3+ years experience managing an eCommerce website on Shopify Plus / Hydrogen or similar eCommerce platform
• CRO and / or UX / UI Design experience, a plus
• Experience managing and optimizing key website funnel metrics - including bounce rate, conversion rate, AOV, cart abandonment rates – by channel
• Thorough and efficient troubleshooting and QA skills
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Psychology, Marketing, or related field
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize (or similar), and / or SQL a plus
