Job Description
This is a fully remote position.


Love in Faith is a faith-based apparel & product company that seeks to uplift and bring people together through our unique designs. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as the Vice President (VP) of Wholesale. As the Vice President (VP) of Wholesale, you will play a crucial role in driving our wholesale business and expanding our reach to a wider audience.


Responsibilities:


  • Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Love in Faith during industry events, trade shows, and meetings with key wholesale partners. Ensure that our brand values and identity are consistently communicated and upheld throughout all wholesale activities
  • Sales Forecasting and Analysis: Utilize data analytics and market research to make informed decisions on inventory planning, pricing, and promotional strategies. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and make proactive adjustments to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Lead the wholesale sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities to expand the company's wholesale customer base
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of wholesale strategies and alignment with company-wide objectives
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with wholesale partners, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships. Manage and maintain all contractual obligations with wholesale clients
  • Product Assortment and Merchandising: Collaborate with the product development team to curate an appealing and diverse wholesale product assortment that resonates with the values and preferences of our customers and aligns with market trends
  • Wholesale Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy that aligns with Love in Faith's overall mission and goals. Identify opportunities for growth, new market segments, and strategic partnerships to maximize sales and brand exposure
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor the wholesale team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to support the team's growth and success


Requirements


  • Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with wholesale partners
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven track record of at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within wholesale or retail sales, preferably in the apparel or fashion industry
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and management abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential
  • Sales and Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through effective wholesale sales strategies, market analysis, and relationship building
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer trends
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively communicate insights


Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person, over the telephone, and/or via video conference.

  • Oriented to detail. Financial forecasts rely on projections which can be impacted by even minor changes in sales patterns, consumer sentiment, economic shifts, competitor changes, etc. You will need to be attuned to small changes in all streams of data
  • Communication skills. You need to have advanced communication skills in both oral and written form. Emails and written communication with colleagues and external partners, written reports for senior executives. Able to communicate complex financial information to people outside of the finance department
  • Data analysis & interpretation. You will have to process and review a lot of information from a variety of sources, understand how data is collected, assess data quality, and how to use the information
  • Confident decision-making skills. You will need to review data and make sound decisions on what actions to take and make confident recommendations to senior management. You may need to make decisions quickly with limited amounts of information in urgent situations

Benefits


Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000. The actual base salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
