- Ensure an exceptional and consistent customer experience across all retail locations. Develop and implement customer service standards, training programs, and initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and manage the retail budget, including sales forecasts, expenses, and profitability analysis. Monitor store performance and financial metrics to make data-driven decisions and drive profitability.
- Lead end-to-end process of opening new retail store, from site selection and lease negotiation to store design and construction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure efficient and timely store openings.
- Build and lead a high-performing retail team, including store managers and staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a positive and motivated work environment. Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Oversee all aspects of retail operations, including store layout, visual merchandising, inventory management, and staffing. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all retail locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, optimize store performance, and achieve revenue targets. Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive retail expansion strategy aligned with CUTS goals and objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential retail locations.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute retail expansion plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional retail experiences.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, store design, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
- 10+ years of proven experience in retail management, including experience in expanding retail footprints and opening new stores.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with the apparel or fashion retail industry is preferred.
- You have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and have fun.
- You are high energy / low ego.
- You are comfortable giving feedback and receiving constructive criticism.
- You love helping to identify inefficiencies and remove roadblocks across all areas of the business.
- You love working collaboratively.
- You thrive in fast paced environments.
- You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to complete decision-driving analyses, but you can also get your hands dirty with the everyday tasks that keep the company running.
