Facility Maintenance Leader, Distribution Center

RH is seeking a Distribution Center Leader to lead the team and ensure commitment to quality and development. This role will direct the operations of the warehouse team to achieve prescribed objectives and assure the integrity of the inventory.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritizes, manages. plans and coordinates activities of Facilities team to best service customers mitigating down time while maintaining a pristine Distribution Center on both the inside and out;
• Develop and maintain a productive team by creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development

• Minimizes downtime by managing the prioritization and scheduling of work orders as well as preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance.
• Maintains a safe work environment by observing & enforcing OSHA, Food Safety and Hazmat requirements.
• Arranges and monitors contractor services for various needs
• Prioritizes, manages. plans and coordinates activities of Facilities team to best service customers mitigating down time while maintaining a pristine Distribution Center on both the inside and out;
• Work with outside contractors when appropriate to provide services - such as back up Generator, UPS, sprinkler system, HVAC
• Ensures quick response to downtime situations affecting production.
• Lead Team of experienced conveyor technicians in a highly mechanized facility overseeing preventative maintenance inspections and repair of mechanization and material handling equipment.
• Continually developing Facilities Team and monitors level of service within department providing regular feedback as to performance.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance including landscaping, lawn maintenance, associate and truck parking lot maintenance; HVAC, lighting –inside and out; dock doors/ plates, trailer restraints & switch lights; roofing, fire protection systems, back-up power systems

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement
• 3+ years of experience at the departmental management level in facilities maintenance, with conveyor and material handling systems experience preferred.
• Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring, coaching and interpersonal skills with ability to build and foster teams
• Demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data with knowledge of e-commerce and fulfillment operations
• Knowledge of logistical operations associated with cross-functional teams
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel

OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
