Facility Maintenance (Janitorial) - Pawleys Plantation - Full Time

*Sign on Bonus of $500*

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep outside area near exit and entrance clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
• Wash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glass
• Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed
• Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed.
• Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
• Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies
• Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
• Perform other related duties as required
• Secure storage areas
• Make note of the need for equipment repairs
• Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of staff and the public
• Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
• Report damages and acts of vandalism
• Vacuum all carpeted areas
• Mop tile and concrete floor areas
• Clean kitchen sinks and counters
• Restock materials and supplies
• Empty all trash cans and remove garbage and recycling bringing to designated outside area.
• Wash entrance and exit floors
• Clean entrance and exit including glass, doors and hardware
• Clean all mirrors
• Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers and fixtures
• Spot clean walls and toilet partitions
• Clean, wash and disinfect drinking fountains

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Respirators

• Report equipment issues to equipment manager or supervisor immediately.

• QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Positive attitude.
• Understanding of internal controls.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must be able to stand/sit for long periods on time.
• Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

• Must be willing to get dirty at work.
