Facility Maintenance Technician Jobs

Our company currently has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Safety & Environmental Technician at our Troy, Ohio location.
This employee must be proficient in maintaining the mechanical aspect of the facility. i.e. HVAC belts & filters, dock locks, dock levelers, safety gates, floor repair, general lighting, drywall repair, door repair, general facility repair and assistance on production equipment related issues. Should understand the fire system and where alarm points are throughout the facility. This position is assigned work in the Preventive Maintenance areas, Projects, and machine breakdowns as required.Completes work assignments in the Maintenance \"work order\/ PM\" system.Works in a safe guarded manor for his\/ her safety and the safety of all others. They will follow all LOTO rules of Clopay and adhere to instructions from other Maintenance employees.Conducts themselves in a manner that supports a \"Ship, Shipmate, Self\" concept where teamwork is key to our success.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, maintained, and orderly condition.Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures. Report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.Perform other job-related duties and activities as needed.
Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED.Prior facility maintenance experience.Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, etc.Proficient in PC's and Microsoft Word.Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.Our employees are rewarded with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, sick and vacation time as well as a matching 401(k) savings plan.
