Who are we?

As a Controls and Electro-Pneumatic Systems Technician, you will provide exceptional support and troubleshooting for pharmaceutical packaging equipment and various support utilities including HVAC, Compressed Air, Building Management System, Dust Collection System, Purified Water System, and Building Maintenance.

Essential Duties/Functions

To excel in this role, you will be responsible for performing the following essential duties:

• Managing Facility Cleaning Service Contractors and Supervising Various Contracting Crews and Building Maintenance Service Providers
• Specifying and Ordering Required Parts and Equipment to Support Packaging and Warehouse Operations, as well as Managing Spare Parts Inventory
• Monitoring the Performance of All Assigned Equipment and Systems and Conducting a Variety of Maintenance Services
• Analyzing and Troubleshooting Equipment and Ancillary Utilities
• Recommending and Implementing Equipment/System Upgrades to Improve Efficiency of Operation
• Inspecting and Maintaining the Fork Lift Equipment in Operating Conditions as per Safety Rules and Procedures and Reporting Observations
• Partnering with Operations to Ensure Understanding of Technical Issues and Corrective Actions
• Seeking Out and Implementing Production Process Improvements to Improve Quality, Reduce Cost, and Improve Safety
• Performing Repairs as Needed and Performing Facility Supporting Equipment/Systems Scheduled Preventative Maintenance
• Defining, Managing, and Scheduling Work in the CMMS System for Facility and Packaging Equipment/Instrumentation
• Managing Café Equipment and Supplies
• Having the Ability to Read, Write, Speak, and Comprehend English

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Experience Required: Minimum 7 + Years of experience in Facility Maintenance Required, and Minimum 7 + Years of Field or Plant Technician Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Packaging Environment; Solid Dosage Experience Preferred.
• Education Required: High School Degree or Equivalent Required

Physical Demand Requirement:

• Specialized or Technical Knowledge, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, Prolonged Standing
• Solid Communication Skills and Good Documentation Practices
• Ability to Operate a PC and Various Machinery (i.e., Air Handling Units, Air Compressors, Compressed Air Dryers)
• Ability to Work in Elevation and Confined Spaces with Appropriate Safety Gear
• Motivated, Action-Oriented Individual with the Ability to Work Independently
• Experience with HVAC, Air Compressor System, DI Water System, Dust Collection System, Documentation Control System
• Ability to Read and Understand Electrical Schematics, Loop Diagrams, and P&IDs
• Thorough Understanding of Manufacturing Systems, Motors, Sensors, Actuators, Instrument Loops, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Pneumatics
• Strong Electrical/Mechanical Aptitude with the Ability to Analyze and Troubleshoot Systems in Order to Determine Permanent Corrective Actions
