Job Description
The Airport Executive Assistant supports the needs of the Airport through administrative, organizational, communications, and operational responsibilities for the Director and Commission. The salary range for this position is $22.31 to $32.40 per hour with a hiring range of $22.31 - $27.36 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will close to applicants on: Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. M.D.T.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and maintain ongoing proficiency with computer, software and system support functions.
  • Serves as secretary of the Airport Commission. Prepare agendas, minutes and materials for meetings.
  • Supports financial data entry including procurement, requisitions, invoicing, purchasing cards, payroll, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare information and presentations for public meetings.
  • Responsible for the creation and updating of content for reports, research, and data analytics.
  • Land and facilities lease administration, organization, and compliance.
  • Assist with Airport emergency support, and disseminate information for crisis communications in the event of airport emergencies with the public and media
  • Manage and maintain communications and marketing functions including management of website, social media, and other communications methods.
  • Assist with the creation of department budget and inputs into systems.
  • Process service agreements, online submittal of invoices, budget reports, payroll, and purchasing card transactions.
  • Compose and edit written correspondence, coordinate meetings, and explain policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate submittal of information between stakeholders and governing bodies.
Other Job Functions
  • Respond to noise complaints with courtesy and a focus on education.
  • Collaborate on Airport communications with the City's Office of Communications and Engagement department
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; purchase and select equipment.
Supervisory Duties
This position has no supervisory or lead role responsibilities.

Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensure and/or Certifications
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Directly Related Experience
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
Preferred Experience:
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience in a high volume, extensive public contact office.
  • A degree in business or a related field.
Level of Physical Effort
Minimal physical effort typically found in clerical work. Primarily sedentary, may occasionally lift and carry light objects. Walking and/or standing as needed and minimal.
Hazards
Minimal exposure to hazards are typically found in general office environment where there is rarely to no exposure to injury or accident.
Physical Working Environment
Exposure to routine office noise and equipment.
