We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Event Program & Content Coordinator to join our Executive Benchmarking Portfolio. The role consists of a mixture of in-depth business/market research, copywriting, speaker recruitment of C-level executives from Fortune companies, project coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration to develop the most commercially viable products.
While previous professional experience is preferred, we encourage recent graduates to apply, particularly those with involvement in extracurriculars and internship experience. We’ll train the ideal candidate on the fundamentals of market research (with executives across the Fortune 1000) and the art (and science) of conference production to prepare them to be a full-fledged analyst/conference director and lead programs of their own.
Responsibilities Include:
- Source and recruit thought leaders and C-level executives in the industry, using cold outreach methods to invite them to speak.
- Develop a clear understanding of the vendor market through market/business research.
- Support the execution of events onsite and act as the 'face' of the event to both internal and external stakeholders, both during planning and onsite at the event.
- Identify and examine industry trends and issues for F1000 corporate executives through primary and secondary research.
- Candidates will also have the chance to travel to the events that they produce.
- Collaborate with industry executives to formulate a conference program highlighting cutting edge trends and topics identified during your research.
- Copywrite conference programs, agendas, and websites.
- Work closely and collaboratively with sales, marketing and event operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of an outstanding customer experience on-site at a 5-star resort.
Requirements:
The Event Program & Content Coordinator is responsible for all phases of project coordination and end-to-end content production working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Great organizational, interpersonal, research, and writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, commercially aware, and an adept multitasker. In addition, qualified candidates have:
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfort with reaching out to senior executives via LinkedIn, phone, and other social media both to conduct thorough research and extend invitations to speak at the event.
- The ability to research, absorb, and distill large amounts of information and translate those findings into exciting conference topics.
- The ability to communicate elegantly both in writing and verbally with stakeholders of all levels, including senior level business executives and thought leaders.
- Copywriting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree is required. Journalism or Communications background is a plus.
This career offers:
- Intellectual challenge.
- Unparalleled opportunities to speak and interact with global business leaders.
