The Role


We are looking for a talented and passionate Content Coordinator to join our growing Global Marketing team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the creation of engaging B2B marketing that will ultimately help grow IBISWorld’s brand awareness and enhance our relationships with existing clients.


The Content Coordinator will work directly with the global marketing and research teams to execute projects by managing and creating content primarily for our blog and social media channels, and will also collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop relevant, effective content through a variety of other content channels to educate our 100,000+ users.


Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and research analysts to create content for IBISWorld media channels (namely, www.ibisworld.com/blog ) that provides value for our audience
  • Collaborate with research analysts to incorporate IBISWorld proprietary data and analysis into other media content
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Edit, proofread and improve content of external and internal writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Review and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics, then use results to optimize on-site SEO
  • Working with SEO Specialist, conduct keyword research to determine what words we rank for and which ones we should rank for based on business goals; maintain keyword map for our Industry businesses and ensure all content includes identified keywords
  • Create content and campaign support material in line with content strategy; pitch fully formed ideas to management for relevant and effective content that brings value to our target audience
  • Stay up-to-date with content marketing best practice and apply to IBISWorld’s content
  • Work with Marketing, Social Media and Digital teams to publish and distribute content to onlinechannels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
  • Work closely with the Global Content Manager to coordinate and execute tasks that align with IBISWorld’s global content strategy; execute and continuously build on a content schedule that appeals to our core audience of business professionals in the areas of banking, accounting, private equity, consulting andcorporate strategy
  • Become an expert on our customer buying journey; understand trends and hot topics in our key target markets by conducting independent research and working with sales and client service departments
  • Optimize content according to SEO best-practice


Key Requirements


  • Experience managing social media channels for a B2B enterprise
  • High level understanding of SEO best-practice and keyword research to improve search rankings
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and a CMS, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Umbraco,to oversee digital content
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; self-motivated and ability to workautonomously
  • General knowledge of business and economic concepts
  • Familiarity with how social media can be used to support content strategy
  • Experience analyzing marketing metrics, including web traffic metrics
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrable ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with unexpected assignments and changes to workload based onmanagement priorities or client requests
  • Two or more years’ experience coordinating or writing marketing copy for a B2B enterprise
  • Experience using social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Hubspot, Buffer Sprout etc.)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as a member of a global team
  • BA or BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or relevant field


Compensation - $75,000
