Summary


SQUIRE is seeking an Event Manager to plan and manage virtual and in-person events to acquire and engage prospects and customers. The Event Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of all events and assisting with the overall event strategy. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure all deliverables are executed on schedule and within brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and able to pivot quickly under pressure when unexpected circumstances arise. This role will work closely with the Marketing Leadership Team, Sales Team, Success Team and SQUIRE customers. This person must have excellent communications skills and be willing to travel.


This position is 100% remote (other than event travel).

Vice President, Marketing


Job Duties And Responsibilities


  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipping logistics, includes tracking packages and resolving delays with third-party vendors
  • Provide training and guidance to event attendees and speakers to ensure effective performance
  • Coordinate with members of the marketing team to ensure requested materials and deliverables are ready and on time for each event
  • Source and select reliable vendors and suppliers for event-related services, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
  • Serve as a liaison between internal participants and event organizers by communicating any updates, changes or issues that arise during the event planning process
  • Research costs and requirements to attend industry conferences and trade shows
  • Develop comprehensive event timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure smooth event execution
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, permits, equipment rentals, transportation, and group accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records of all event expenditures

Requirements And Qualifications


  • Extremely organized and effective communicator
  • Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally where needed, 25-50% of time
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
  • 5+ years of corporate event management or similar
  • Ability to work well with a wide-range of personalities from influencers to executives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resource appropriately
