Engagement Associate (Senior Associate, Doq)

Position Overview:

CECP is seeking an Associate to join its Strategic Engagement and Growth team, to support the execution of various engagement strategies across target audiences of CECP. This position will lead efforts to coordinate the use of CECP’s customer relationship management (CRM) across internal teams, oversee scheduling and outreach tracking across various audiences, develop cross-team dashboards and reports, and support CECP’s overall revenue and business development strategies. The Associate will report to the Director, Strategic Engagement and Growth.

Responsibilities:

Salesforce Coordination (50%)

• Support Salesforce integration across various CECP platforms including cecp.co and MyCECP portal
• Manage the contact update process including ongoing Zoominfo updates, managing email bounces, updating company contact lists after onboarding to ensure a robust dataset that is segmented and accurate
• Support mass communications efforts through list development and analysis
• Provide training and execution cross-team of Salesforce entries, including action points; document systems, protocols, and best practices
• Participate in cross-team project kickoff meetings to advise on appropriate use of Salesforce tracking and execute the creation of needed fields or reports/dashboards
• Meet with each CECP team monthly to ensure Salesforce trackers for annual and quarterly KPIs are built and input is up to date

Company Engagement (25%)

• Draft and execute project plans, timelines, and RASCIs
• Execute various ongoing company engagement and outreach strategies, including managing meeting requests and follow-up, scheduling, note taking and recording, logging task assignments after meetings
• Engage and build relationships with non-affiliated companies beyond joining the coalition
• Support new company onboarding including welcome letters, materials collection
• Build relationships with corporate leaders, including emailing and calling corporate leaders for team contact details to support outreach and campaigns
• Support sponsor company onboarding including contract creation, materials collection
• Provide scheduling support for CECP leaders’ company meetings on an ad hoc basis

Business Development (25%)

• Conduct external research to develop leads and targets and to inform proposals
• Support execution of CECP’s prospect company recruitment strategy by managing outreach, scheduling, tracking and reporting on pipeline
• Create meeting briefs for prospect meetings
• Support outreach and tracking of philanthropic investment targets

• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce CRM required; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in relationship management, working internally with cross-functional teams and externally through either recruitment, sales, business development, partnership development, and/or fundraising, ideally with large companies; and/or bachelor’s degree

Compensation and benefits: 

CECP offers a competitive salary and benefits package for the nonprofit sector that reflects the high expectations and level of responsibility of this role, with a salary range of $50k-$69K depending on experience to align with pay equity across the organization. CECP is a high-performance, results-driven culture that offers work/life fit to its staff. CECP offers remote work flexibility, and some travel will be required for events and quarterly offsite meetings.
