Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, New York

Contribute to the design and development of high-performance, low-latency electronic trading algorithms. Apply Machine Learning techniques and develop classifiers and APIs to access them for the business units. Make system design decisions. Evaluate, integrate and develop necessary software. Design and run tests for the trading algorithms.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $151,000 and $151,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Software Engineer, Application Developer or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with: C; C++; Make; REST; SOAP; Data Structures & Algorithms; Bash Scripting; JSON; XML; Git; Linux. Requires any amount of experience with: Scala; Java; Gradle; Machine Learning; Python; Jupyter; KDB; Q; DB2; Sybase; JavaScript; HTML; CSS.
