Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. UX Designer role within engineering team. Conduct user shadowing activities, interviews, and leverage other research methods to discover requirements, pain points, and insights. Define personas, user journeys, product concepts, and storyboards. Contribute to product management artifacts such as feature prioritization matrices, future state journey maps and protype test plans. Develop design prototypes at increasing levels of fidelity, with user testing after each stage to reach a final design. Utilize and improve upon our design language, interaction patterns, component set, and grid system to build consistency, reusability, and scalability. Collaborate with a broad range of business and engineering stakeholders as part of an agile development process to ensure designs are usable, feasible and implemented accurately.
Job Requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design or related field. One (1) year with a Master’s or Three (3) years with a Bachelor’s of experience in the job offered or a related role.
Prior experience must include one (1) year with a Master’s or three (3) years with a Bachelor’s with: designing for and with a component library and set of standard elements; designing for desktop and mobile and working with responsive design; using Figma to design and develop prototypes; designing for low code platforms including Salesforce; using visual design skills, particularly with grid systems, typography, layout, and use of color; designing for Financial Services, particularly in the investment banking or deal management sphere; service Design knowledge or experience with design thinking methods; and working on the client-side of product design. Occasional International travel may be required no more than 5% of time to attend in-person workshop during the discovery or design phase of a critical project with stakeholders. All expenses covered by the Firm.
Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $121,000 - $180,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
