Job Description

The Hired Guns are seeking a creative thought leader to support and grow a healthy company culture as the first-ever Employee Engagement Manager, Culture and Events at a scaling global patient recruitment company whose work in clinical trials is literally saving lives.

Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year

  • Have job stability; in an uncertain economy, health tech is a great place to be
  • Create meaningful events and bespoke employee recognition experiences
  • Work hands-on with a visionary and well-respected female CEO who is making an impact (and saving lives)
  • Enjoy a healthy work-life balance while engaging in mission-driven work at a company that has established 25 years of success stories in clinical trials across 30+ countries
  • Pioneer a healthy hybrid work environment for this fast-growing company

The Nitty Gritty

The backstory on the company and why they need to hire you!

This woman-owned, data-driven company pairs patients with research studies, enabling life-saving drugs and procedures to come to market faster. Every year for the past five years, the company has doubled in size and is poised for even more growth as they enter Q3 of 2023. And that’s where you come in:

As the Employee Engagement Manager, you will create an engaging hybrid work culture within a growing intergenerational workforce. You will plan and project-manage thoughtful employee events. You will devise innovative ways to ensure that work-life balance is paramount for every employee. You’ll act as this company’s “go-to” thought leader and culture catalyst when it comes to ensuring that everyone has the best employee experience.

Note, you’ll be the first person hired for this brand-new role, so there’s a lot of freedom to co-create this position, make it your own, and lead value creation for a mighty, successful, and scaling workforce.

This is a hybrid role which will require you to attend meetings on-site as needed, especially in conjunction with upcoming events.

Why You?

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…

You’re a creative, out-of-the-box thinker. You consider yourself to be a thought trailblazer on employee engagement. You have a proven track record of creating and implementing a healthy work-life balance and a thriving hybrid work environment. Perhaps you have a background in internal comms, operations, or HR working with DEI, employee engagement, or corporate social responsibility. You have experience leading an engaging hybrid intergenerational workforce. You love planning inventive and original events that deepen employee relations. You happily take on additional responsibilities (depending on your expertise in comms, marketing, and/or HR). Project management chops are a must, as this will be inherent in all of the work you do. Finally, you can work seamlessly with multiple high-level stakeholders and you're excited to work with a visionary CEO to deliver bespoke employee experiences and events.

The Inside Skinny

Why you should quit your job right now and join this team!

Do this job right, and you can say you created an engaging, creative, and meaningful work environment for all employees at a scaling company whose ethos is centered on improving health and saving lives. It’s kind of a big deal. Get in touch with us today.
