We are looking for an Employee Change Management Specialist responsible for coordination of organizational change activities as part of the integration program. As a key strategy of our continued growth, Poplar Homes is actively acquiring companies within the long term rental industry. You will deliver strategies and plans to prioritize acquired employees and maximize the adoption of Poplar Homes processes. To be successful as an Employee Change Management Specialist at Poplar Homes, you will implement a strategy that supports Operational growth and sets acquired employees and local Operations up to begin operating immediately post integration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement the employee engagement and communication strategy
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key employees
- Implement the strategy to support adoption of changes during the integration period
- Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training for acquired employees
- Support and engage Operation Leadership on hiring of acquired employees
- Identify and manage anticipated risks and create tactics to mitigate
- Define and measure success metrics
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Previous experience in managing, leading and building teams
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Change management certification or designation desired
- Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, Organizational Development or related field
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- 3+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation
- Organized with an inclination for planning strategy and tactics
