Owning the implementation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge management systems.

Documentation: developing, maintaining, and organizing high quality documentation and knowledge content for the entire organization (articles, videos, etc.).

Training: designing and executing ongoing technical and skills training for US based field teams.

Assessment: developing processes and systems to track knowledge acquisition and application

Assisting in the development and maintenance of new employee onboarding content, assessment programs, and certification by team.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify knowledge management needs and requirements.

Experience in knowledge management practices, including content selection, taxonomy development, and information architecture.

Change management experience and the ability to drive adoption of new training and knowledge management initiatives.

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Certification in instructional design, training development, or knowledge management is a plus and Six Sigma

Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management.

2 years of experience in technical writing, content creation, and/or knowledge base writing

2 years of experience utilizing Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar knowledge base tools

Responsible for writing, editing, and updating customer-facing knowledge base articles for multiple products.

Act as a subject matter expert for your products on the Customer Education team and other teams as needed.

Manage the Knowledgebase management system, process, and stakeholder participation, designing and refining processes to ensure quality and consistency.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Degree in management, communications, technical writing, business, or a related field

Experience and knowledge of the mortgage, real estate, and/or construction industry will provide a strong advantage.

Create and execute a plan to increase and improve the usage of the Knowledgebase to our multiple customer segments.

Refine dashboards to help track key knowledge metrics.

Define and implement a knowledge management approach/strategy for the 3Rs Programme aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing and delivering of planned results;

Timely delivery of knowledge management strategy and implementation, including guidance to country and regional offices;

Ability to draft knowledge management and dissemination strategies and plans

Promote and communicate on new corporate knowledge sharing mechanisms, and actively manages the existing community of practice;

Quality development of knowledge products and inputs to written publications;

Excellent writing and presentational skills

Expands knowledge management awareness, skills and integration into everyday operations through providing training, establishing KM practices, and maintaining effective communications.

The Knowledge Management Specialist performs the following major duties:

Qualifications Based on Education or a Combination of Education and Experience

Devises strategies to effectively capture, manage, and search learning resources.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in knowledge management, technical writing, or related field preferred.

Experience implementing knowledge management systems, tools and platforms.

Lead knowledge management projects, including scoping, planning, executing and closing out projects, and ensuring project timelines, and deliverables are met.

Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on knowledge management issues, opportunities and challenges.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in knowledge management, information science, technical writing, or related field preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

7-10 years of experience working in knowledge management areas or similar roles.

Experience in ServiceNow and an understanding of how it’s functions relate to Knowledge Management.

Responsible for developing knowledge management Run Books to help create a unified support model for Research IT.

Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of technical and knowledge management documentation.

Strong problem-solving skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsible for the accuracy of all Run Operational Excellence knowledge data associated to Research IT assets.

Knowledge or experience using Waste and Nuclear Materials Management databases such as Waste Characterization and Tracking System (WCATS), LAMCAS, and LANMAS

Familiarity or experience working in support of hazardous waste management and/or within a nuclear facility.

2-5 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated experience in communications and reporting for USAID-funded projects

Develop a strong understanding of the task order’s goals and strategies, and ensure they are integrated into communications and outreach activities

Support the implementation of Knowledge Management in the directorates across all domains - people, processes, and tools.

Support changes across knowledge management in coordination with other site knowledge managers such as recurring bug fixes, minor updates, etc

Coordinate with the Command Records Officer (CRO) or other RLs on any Records Management related taskers, meetings, boards and/or working groups.

Provide oversight and facilitation of the Records Management Program for their respective organization.

Provide the ability to design, document and orchestrate doctrinally sound processes to support operational mission requirements.

Automate Business Processes using SharePoint Workflow capabilities within SharePoint Designers as required.

Campaigns and initiatives: ensure IMT visibility in Organization’s thematic campaigns, including World Health Days of significance for the Department.
