We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Education & Educational Business Development Manager who will report to the Vice President of Code of Origin & Trade Services. This will be a hybrid position mainly working remotely from home and a couple of days in the office located at 300 First Stamford Place, Stamford CT.
Key accountabilities include:
- Attending trade events and staying up to date with industry developments and changes;
- Responsible for closely monitoring, managing, and coordinating logistics on off-site Institute of Diamonds courses;
- Conduct industry talks, host seminars, and hand-on workshops offer virtual training;
- Responsible for written clear and effective communications with internal and external partners;
- Coordinate and execute IoD workshops to the trade in North America to meet De Beers standards;
- Deliver virtual training on Code of Origin to our existing retail partners;
- Coordinate with the Central team on the execution and delivery of materials needed to satisfy US market;
- Conduct internal training on Code of Origin and Institute of Diamonds courses where necessary
- Adhere to the needs and company’s strategy and direction.
- Seeking collaboration opportunities with important industry trade shows and third-party associations;
- Deliver Institute of Diamonds education in partnership with internal talent as needed;
- Identify gaps in existing training provided by the central to improve overall training experience for US market;
- Actively outreach and identify business opportunities within the trade;
- Train retail partners on Code of Origin and work closely on coordinating the execution of materials required for US market;
- Represent De Beers at industry events, trade shows, and other gatherings where De Beers' presence is important;
- Delivering DB internal training on Code of Origin; and
- Improve training effectiveness by helping the London team to develop new digital approaches;
The annual salary range for this position will be $85,000 - $100,000k.
Qualifications
- GIA certified would be an asset;
- Building new programs and growing initiatives;
- Experience in educating and sharing information;

- Minimum of Five (5) years experience in a similar role or sales position;
- Builds cross-functional relationships – internal and external;
- Training experience and comfort of public speaking;
