Business Development Manager (Digital Assets)

Our client is an Asian quantitative investment firm looking to hire an experienced Sales individual to join the team. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work in a well-funded rapidly growing fintech scale up which has an alternate culture to the bulge brackets.

Reporting directly into the founder, you will be responsible for business development and sales strategy for North America, increasing revenue by identifying profitable opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies.

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify a pipeline of new prospects active in digital assets
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to further develop the go to market strategy
• Stay current on crypto market development, participate in industry conferences and network within the crypto native financial eco-system.
• Recommend ways to improve operations planning, attend meetings with clients and advisers, and notifying senior management of key business developments
• Research new markets and identify emerging industry trends and leverage this information to influence corporate strategy
• Ad Hoc project work related to business development and sales efforts
• Foster relationships, and lead discussions and negotiations with clients and partners from C-level execs to key functional leads
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the offerings to identify profitable business opportunities in the market

Skills & Experience:

• Good overall knowledge of trading and prime brokerage, FX, Futures, Options and Digital Assets
• Ability to establish strong working relationships both internally and externally, across all levels of management
• 5 to 10 years of experience in buy side sales with proven new business track record of selling trading platforms or complex SaaS solutions
• Maintain the highest ethical standards
• Communicate information precisely and with agility, you will be speaking with clients frequently
• Be curious, bring new ideas to the table and get the backing to take them forward
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing strategic partnerships
• Highly motivated and tenacious individual, with a proven ability to take initiative and work independently and within a team
