Our client, a leading streetwear brand in Los Angeles, is seeking an accomplished eCommerce & Digital Marketing Director to drive their online presence and enhance their digital marketing efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment!
As the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Director, you will take the lead in defining the product vision and strategy online, inclusive of the entire customer journey and touch points, from first visit through inspiration, discovery, details, commerce, communications, and return.
This role is responsible for strategizing and managing the daily operations and development of the brand’s eCommerce platforms, as well as conceptualizing and launching new experiences and product drops aligned with the seasonal calendar.
Responsibilities:
- Be data driven - monitor and analyze key performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and maximize ROI
- Manage relationships with external partners and agencies, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in eCommerce and digital marketing, and make recommendations to enhance the company’s digital presence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align eCommerce strategies with product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns
- Manage vendor partners to help solve customer and business problems to drive site optimization and conversion, site taxonomy, site search, A/B testing and leveraging 3rd party providers that drive our product recommendations, site search, styling, customer reviews to best meet business needs and strategies
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, and display advertising
- Develop and execute comprehensive eCommerce strategies to drive online sales growth, enhance the customer experience, and increase brand visibility
- Own the e-comm site experience and all operational aspects of e-commerce, including customer experience, site merchandising, digital marketing strategy, website user experience and omni-channel integration points; including daily/weekly/monthly sales report oversight, e-Commerce target setting, KPI planning, and P&L ownership
- Lead product management functions to deliver new features and functionality, evolved our marketing tech stack, and deliver on our roadmap, conversion and e-commerce KPIs
- Formulate recommendations for seasonal 360 marketing plan, including merchandising, advertising, and promotional strategies
- Identify and scale levers for growth, including digital marketing optimization, online buying innovation, CRM and personalization, site experience enhancements, and content commerce
Requirements:
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital innovation and a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and display advertising
- Proficient in leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the performance of digital marketing initiatives
- Experience managing external partners, agencies, and vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and maximizing ROI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate digital marketing strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Expertise in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA preferred
- Proven track record (8+ years) of success in eCommerce and digital marketing, with a focus on driving online sales growth
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms, user experience optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Familiarity with eCommerce and digital marketing technologies, tools, and platforms

Salary: Up to $150K salary + bonus and benefits
