The Role:
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for leading the digital marketing team and developing and executing digital marketing strategies that establish Pair of Thieves’ omnichannel excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team of digital marketers. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Brand and Digital Marketing.
Digital Media Buying Strategy:
- Manage outside digital marketing agencies and vendors. You will need to clearly communicate your goals to the agencies, track their performance, and provide feedback on their work.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop high-performance ad creative that meets the goals of a hybrid strategy while aligning to the broader brand campaign messaging. You will need to be able to understand the needs of both teams and come up with creative solutions that meet their goals.
- Support brand campaigns with digital media buying strategy that supports a hybrid strategy of brand awareness and audience development. This means developing a media plan in partnership with the Brand Marketing team that includes a mix of both brand awareness and performance-based objectives. For example, you might supplement a traditional media plan with a combination of search ads, display ads, and social media ads to reach a broad audience and generate brand awareness, while also using retargeting ads to reach people who have already visited your website and encourage them to take a desired action, such as making a purchase.
Website Development:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project requirements and prioritize backlog with PM and internal stakeholders.
- Work with the Digital Creative Lead and stakeholders to review and approve website designs, gather feedback from stakeholders, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage Digital Product Manager and Web Developer. Work with your team to gather and define website requirements, create a project plan and timeline, track and manage the project budget, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project.
Analytics and Insights:
- Customer insights: Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and recommend improvements.
- Campaign analysis: Collaborate with Brand Marketing team to track campaign performance, identify trends and patterns, and recommend improvements.
- Data collection: Identify data needed, determine data collection methods, and set up data collection process.
- Customer surveys: Collaborate with Brand Strategy team to design surveys, collect survey data, and identify customer insights.
- Website analysis: Track website traffic and sales, identify trends and patterns, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Keynote preferred.
- Agile and willing to pivot with an evolving business while focusing on key marketing priorities.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related degree program is required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital marketing; Basics apparel experience is preferred. CPG industry is a plus.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to draw conclusions from data, communicate and present actionable insights.
- Proven relationship management and leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
