Job Description
Key Duties And Responsibilities


Own the Full Ecommerce P&L for US website


  • Capture daily D2C site analytics, overseeing key performance indicators (e.g., traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.), interpreting data into trends and strategy, and optimizing P&L/budgets; monitor and provide tracking/reports on a regular basis.
  • Manage DTC site inventory and forecasting while partnering with our 3PL and internal operations team to improve fulfillment capabilities, minimize costs, and manage the intersection between our Shopify site and our fulfilment system.
  • Responsible for merchandising and marketing coordination on our site around key initiatives and products.
  • Responsible for US website full P&L including achieving top line sales/bottom line targets, site pricing, assortment, promotions, costs, and penetration/expansion for new sites.
  • Drive website optimization for the ecommerce site, prioritizing sales and conversions but also embracing and reflecting our brand vision.
  • Put a roadmap in place and directly manage the ongoing optimization of the website.


Manage User Experience and Flow for website


  • Partner with the brand and creative teams to develop targeted content and campaigns that influence consumers on their journey.
  • Manage the user experience of the DTC website including site navigation, site refreshes and development, optimizations, content development, and the checkout funnel.
  • Maintain up-to-date site content, including pricing, assortment and overall category and product page design/content and purchase journey.
  • Develop new features/enhancements, online promotions, and merchandising improvements (e.g. A/B testing, personalization) to maximize conversions.


Lead Performance Marketing (paid search and social) and Digital Advertising


  • Own UGC via ratings and reviews on website and use insights to optimize our product, assortment, etc.
  • Drive all digital advertising and top of funnel online initiatives, including search, SEO efforts, paid social, and digital advertising on partner sites such as Amazon (DSP).
  • Evaluate, engage, and manage internal and outside agencies / consultants as needed to drive best in class digital execution.
  • Stay up to date on digital trends and technologies and provide the VP of Marketing with insight and fact-driven recommendations to optimize our performance.


Drive Email Strategy for brand


  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies that deliver the right product to the right customer at the right time.
  • Monitor and maintain healthy email deliverability.
  • Own the email calendar, attaching actions, goals and KPIs to all emails. Measure results and propose optimizations. Communicate the email calendar through the organization to gain alignment.
  • Manage customer acquisition & retention: analyze email performance and utilize list segmentation, personalization, and content optimization to gain new customers and retain current ones.


Grow and Manage Customer Database/CRM


  • Develop consumer loyalty and advocacy digital strategies around loyalty marketing, including subscriptions targets and strategies
  • Leverage CRM to measure overall business impact and progress toward Engagement and Revenue KPIs.
  • Become brandsConsumer and Customer digital insights expert - understands our cohort behavior, nuanced consumer metrics and key business drivers
  • Optimize our communications through rigorous a/b testing and experimentation, capturing KPIs and learnings.
  • Grow our customer database through a variety of on-site, content and partnership opportunities; This includes all engagement channels like Email, SMS and Social
  • Continuously conduct A/B tests, surveys, interviews and other research to understand who our customers are and the mindsets, triggers and barriers that drive their shopping behavior.


Leadership and Teamwork


  • Support our omni-channel growth efforts by providing the organization with ecommerce or digital marketing learnings that can translate to partner sites.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product Development to ensure successful new product launches on US website
  • Define, create, and deliver the vision, business plan, roadmap, and key metric objectives for the expansion of US website


Capabilities (Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities including Technical Requirements):


  • Experience in working in agile organizations - Hacking Growth is a plus.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, cart abandonment management, chat, heat mapping, etc.
  • Desire to be a part of a dynamic and growing team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related subject. MBA preferred.
  • Ability to think analytically and own budgets and KPIs.
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords
  • Experience with mobile first ecommerce web site.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in ecommerce/digital marketing management and leadership roles within a consumer product driven company.
  • Ability to think strategically about our customers and our business.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
  • Ability to be hands-on, and work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with Business intelligence platform such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Experience in successfully building a thriving DTC business to $20M+. Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform knowledge a plus.

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
