Project Manager (Fashion/Beauty/Ecommerce)

Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote)

Duration: 06 Months

As part of our Product organization, you’ll work closely with the Content, Shopping and Discovery teams to help our users find inspiring shoppable content. You will use your expertise in beauty and lifestyle to improve the Pinner experience. The Shopping Program Management team supports the Product and Engineering teams to work on the product and content signal improvement in the backend across various shopping workstreams.

What you’ll do:

• Be an in-house e-commerce shopping expert: demonstrate product and retailer knowledge with vertical expertise; represent and advocate for the best Pinner experience.
• Establish and be the source of truth for our quality standard on shopping content in the beauty and lifestyle categories.
• Share feedback and analysis with the Product and Engineering teams.
• Create and maintain guidelines and training materials for human review of data.
• Collaborate with Product teams on beauty and lifestyle taxonomy and curation (i.e., attributes, products and styles).
• Run and report progress on projects, working directly with Product and Engineering teams.

• Self-disciplined–able to maintain quality and consistency on a weekly cadence.
• Experience with e-commerce merchandising is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, effective project management capability, and a strong ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong awareness of the latest shopping and retail trends, as well as extensive brands and merchant knowledge.
• Proven ability to work well and be flexible in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple cross-functional projects within tight deadlines.
• Experience in creating a content structure such as taxonomy, and curating content is a plus.
• 3+ years working in a technical or digital-first environment.
• Must be a user who is passionate about our mission to bring everyone the inspiration to create the life they love.
• Passionate and up to date on the latest beauty and lifestyle trends (professional experience in industries for home decor, beauty, weddings, fashion, DIY, etc desired).
• Proficient with Excel, G Suite (Google docs, sheets and slides).
