Director Of Manufacturing And Supply Chain

Our client, a leading healthcare company, is currently recruiting a Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain who will infuse the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Manage contract manufacturers to ensure the timely production of company products

2) Utilize production forecasting provided by the Finance and Analytics Department to effectively balance inventory levels between growing product demand and managing cash flow and inventory costs

3) Ensure all assigned products are purchased, produced, packaged and shipped according to internal timelines and forecasts

4) Support R&D in the development of new products and formulations from the manufacturing side

5) Identify and implement cost-saving measures to contribute to profit optimization

6) Develop and maintain exceptional professional relationships with coworkers, vendors and co-manufacturers

7) Update PO, transfer, and project progress daily

8) Monitor inventory levels, alert the supervisor of unexpected low levels or other abnormalities, and suggest causes and solutions

9) Interact daily with QA/QC and fulfillment teams regarding product testing, vendor issues, incoming shipments and warehouse transfers

10) Manage interdepartmental projects and ensure action is made promptly and effectively follow up with others

11) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in manufacturing and supply chain management
