Job Title: Assistant, Marketing & Digital


A little bit about our team:


We are responsible for marketing, digital marketing, artist development, content creation, art direction, promotion, publicity and branding for a diverse roster of artists. Our department works in a very fast paced environment overseeing needs for our artists and their teams.


Your role:


The Assistant, Marketing & Digital position offers a unique opportunity to learn about all aspects of artist marketing, both traditionally and digitally, through hands-on experience supporting an EVP of Marketing and two product managers, while collaborating with all other departments, artists and their teams. In this position, you will be highly involved in helping the department organize releases, execute marketing campaigns, and develop each artist’s unique vision and brand.


Here you’ll get to:


  • Oversee and maintain department organization including release schedules and artist calendars
  • Create and maintain key documents such as timelines, marketing updates and one sheets
  • Design and oversee production of artist marketing tools such as posters, promo boxes, etc.
  • Run sales, streaming and radio reports for distribution internally and externally
  • Coordinate with web production team to create, update and maintain artist websites
  • Manage digital asset creation including social media graphics, video cutdowns, etc.
  • Liaise with advertising agencies to execute digital and out of home campaigns
  • Distribute marketing information and assets to partners in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in planning and executing artist events with outside vendors and venues
  • Attend events and shows to form relationships within the industry
  • Brainstorm and execute marketing ideas to drive traffic and exposure for artists
  • Coordinate with production team to schedule releases and deliver necessary assets
  • Own administrative duties such as managing supervisors’ calendars, coordinating meetings, booking travel, and submitting invoices and expense reports
  • Oversee artist social media and coordinate with artist management teams on posting needs
  • Coordinate with email operations team to build and send artist email blasts
  • Execute release launch protocol including updating LinkFires, social media accounts and more


About you:


  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms as it pertains to marketing brands
  • Excellent verbal/writing skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Driven, resourceful, innovative, proactive and committed
  • Available to work evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Able to handle stressful situations and various personalities diplomatically
  • Passionate about the music industry and lifestyle
  • Highly organized and skilled at prioritizing workload, including knowing when to ask for direction
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines and act quickly on urgent, unexpected tasks
  • Creative individual who likes to think outside of the box
  • Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to see projects to completion
  • Able to interact professionally with senior executives and artist teams


We’d love it if you also had:


  • Experience working directly with artists, artist managers, booking agencies, etc.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, short-form video editing
  • College degree (any major) from a university
  • Prior music-related experience

Salary Range


$19.23 to $20.51 Hourly


Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
